前作の「ONLY」にも共通してるのが「感情の幅の揺れの両極端」。
スコットの歌詞には感情を扱ったものが多いんだけど、この「FUELED」もその１曲。
「混ぜ合わせて肌の色を変えたい」
「明日の夢をごみ箱に放り込むとき」
「オレは一方じゃおまえだけど、オレはおまえが気に入らない」
スコット流の独特な表現だけど、誰にでも不安があったり迷いがあったりするのをスコット流で歌詞にした１曲。
この曲はのちにＲＥＭＩＸがリリースされたんだけど、ＲＥＭＩＸのほうがスコットのダミ声１・２・３・４！が生かされてて良い。
